Applications of the Z-Cylinder

As the Z-cylinder is a combination of hydraulic adjustment cylinder and a gas traction spring, there are a lot of new application fields. When the system will be inserted, no external compression force is necessary anymore. The Z-cylinder can be installed everywhere where

  • the cylinder has to operate in pull and push direction
  • no external compression force is available (e.g. for very light applications)
  • the cylinder should be installed in any position (e.g. for a horizontal movement)

Below, you can find some applications of the Z-cylinder. There are, of course, even more applications possible.

Kitchen wall unit:

Dank easymotion erreicht man den Küchenschrank sowohl aus der sitzenden als auch aus der stehenden Position. Der Schrank lässt sich schräg nach unten fahren. Dies wird durch den lageunabhängigen Einbau der Z-Zylinder ermöglicht.

Baby bed:

Easymotion allows to open and close the grid comfortably. Despite the light weight of the grid, the Z-ylinder makes this possible.

Die cart:

For this die cart, the cylinders have to be inserted so that they don't touch the ground anymore. For the last centimetres, the cylinder has no contact to ground anymore and therefore there is no external compression force. In this case, it is the compression force of the Z-cylinder.
